Samsung has pledged to make 3D T.V viewing more affordable. Samsung's just announced a price drop on the rest of its active shutter glasses lineup. As you probably already know, the entry-level SSG-3100GB went from $129.99 down to just $49.99. I own a Mitsubishi 3D DLP and it has a fantastic picture my only issue is that as of yet there really aren't any good movies on Blu Ray that are 3D. Avatar is available only if you buy their 3D glasses in a bundle pack. Is there really a need for 3D or is this just a passing faze.

Hopefully this will mean that regular TVs are cheaper as well? :)
